A custard pudding by Asahi Egg in Shimane prefecture, Japan

I ran into this pudding in my local supermarket and bought one, having a weakness to custard.

One spoonful and I was surprised by the creaminess. It was as if I were eating custard cream. It served me as a warm, comforting blanket. I didn’t need caramel sauce.
